Former Big Brother Housemate Abby Plaatjes Signs up for #ToleranceClass

Big Brother star and Tanzanian radio/TV personality Abby Plaatjes partners with #ToleranceClass to bring the anti-hate movement to Tanzania.
#ToleranceClass is a social media movement that has been making strides towards ending tribal, gender and religious hate speech on Nigerian social media.

It begs simple but powerful questions. “If tolerance was a class taught in nursery, primary and secondary schools, could we stop the next generation from picking up our disregard for one another? Why must the next generation inherit our fight?”
According to Alexander Orakwusi, Founder & Executive Creative Director, Dolorem & Ipsum Creative Solutions, taking a chance on a campaign as out-of-the-box as #ToleranceClass was a no-brainer. “Intolerance is at the heart of a lot of the problems we face as a society today, including the state of the economy. The Naira is merely collateral damage of a fight that started a very long time ago.”
Fast rising artist Peter Clarke, has lent his voice to the movement here in Nigeria. His latest single, ‘HATE’, off his upcoming EP titled ‘Truth is Peter’, is the official song of the campaign.
Hate speech is an issue that has no borders and Tanzanians Abby Plaatjes,TV Presenter/Producer Maribeth Ladyhahaa’ Vuhahulla and other media personalities have stepped up to champion and take the cause to Tanzania.
