Olajumoke Orisagunna, the bread hawker-turned-model, will be delivering a motivational speech in Abuja on Saturday, according to a flier now trending on Facebook and Twitter.
If the e-flier is correct, then the model will be sharing the stage with the governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, and Debola Williams will be moderating the programme, while actor, Ramsey Nouah, will be the anchor of the programme tagged, ‘If We Were the Government’.
Some, however, consider the inclusion of the model’s name and face on the flier was a publicity stunt aimed at attracting people to the programme.
After all, they joked, the name of the group organising the programme is the PLAY Forum; not minding that play here is an acronym for Political Leadership Among Youths.
Some others suggested that she was being pushed too hard and that she was ill-prepared for the responsibility at the moment.
Even if there is a doubt about Olajumoke’s attendance at the programme, the sure thing is that many will be at the venue on Saturday to catch a glimpse of the modern-day Cinderella.
