Donald Trump Has Paid A Massive $43m Into His Own Campaign So Far

Wow! Donald Trump's campaign has cost him $43million out of his own pocket - with $7.5million of that coming in April alone - new campaign finance reports filed late Friday show.

Factoring in money from other sources he spent about $56million up to the start of May, when Ted Cruz John Kasich dropped out, spending a total of $9.4million in April.

Big-ticket items that month included $2.6million for advertisements - the biggest single expense - plus more than $930,000 on direct mail and roughly $585,000 in airfare paid to Trump's TAG Air Inc.
