The Nigerian Army Thursday night handed over the 12 indicted top army personnel to the EFCC for grilling. To ensure an indept understanding of the status quo, these are the 3 reasons why they were sent to EFCC.
1. The army’s need to support the war against corruption being wagged on all fronts by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration
2. The Army had given EFCC its best assurances that it would work in synergy with the EFCC to eradicate corruption.
3. The large scale corruption in the ongoing arm procurement scandal with major accusations being directed to the Nigeria Army.
